Digimap

Digimap offers a number of data collections, including Ordnance Survey, historical, geological, LiDAR and marine maps and spatial data .You can use Digimap resources for a wide range of different research tasks across many different arts and sciences subjects. Digimap will allow you to:

• Produce custom maps at small, medium and large scales 
• Download and customise maps to illustrate lectures and publications
• Use historical maps to analyse changes in the natural and built environment
• Access and Analyse Ordnance survey data at multiple scales 
• Access and analyse vector data in marine charts
• Access high resolution aerial photography data
• Provide the raw data to enable you to conduct spatial analysis using GIS
• Use Lidar data to download for use in 3D models in GIS and CAD
• Access a time series of multi-scale, multi-year agricultural census data 
• Access spatial data for other non-UK geographical areas

Free at the point of access to all university of Edinburgh staff and students, but users must register.
