Beginners Guide to Imaging for Scientists

Online course for CMVM, CAHSS and CSCE Students.

This free online, self-paced course introduces you to:

  • the basics of the history of imaging
  • different imaging modalities (MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Light Microscopy, PET and SPECT)
  • practical applications in research for image processing and analysis

If you develop further interest in this topic, you have the option to attend low-cost training in further aspects of imaging including Light Microscopy and Image Processing.

This is a 10-week course with a 4-8 hour commitment per week.
