Agentic coding workshops

  • Researcher In Residence: Evan Morgan
  • Activity: Hands-on workshop & mini-hackathon
  • Dates: 25th June & 6th July 2026

The Agentic Coding Workshop was a one-day training event hosted by the University of Edinburgh’s Digital Research Services. It provided researchers, postgraduate students, and professional staff with a practical introduction to AI-assisted (agentic) coding, covering the setup of agentic coding tools, development workflows, and hands-on software creation. The workshop combined tutorial sessions with a mini-hackathon, where participants applied their skills to develop software projects individually or in teams. The event concluded with the Command Prompt AI-assisted coding meetup, where attendees presented their projects and received feedback.
